TopMention (“we”, “us”) provides AI-visibility scans and related services for e-commerce brands. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
Account data — email address when you request a scan or sign in with a magic link.
Store data — domain, brand name, category, and publicly crawlable pages/feeds we fetch to run the audit.
Scan results — model answers, scores, technical checks, and entitlements tied to your store.
Billing data — processed by Stripe. We store Stripe customer/subscription IDs; we do not store full card numbers.
Technical logs — IP address for rate limiting, and standard server logs.
How we use it
Run free and paid AI visibility scans and deliver results by email and dashboard.
Process payments, fulfill reports, and operate weekly tracking for subscribers.
Improve the product (aggregate, de-identified patterns) and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We use processors that help us operate the service: Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google Gemini) for scan prompts, Vercel (hosting), and email delivery (Resend/SMTP when configured). We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
Scan and account data are kept while your account is active and as needed for billing, support, and legal obligations. You can request deletion by emailing hello@topmention.ai.
Your choices
You can access your dashboard after signing in, manage billing via the Stripe Customer Portal when available, and contact us to export or delete your data.
